Snake – Jessica Triplett

Snake slowly slithers,

gliding on smooth underbelly coiled with muscle,

tensing, he senses his prey,

poised to strike,

he catches a field mouse unprepared,

one bite and gone is the small creature,

the snake is silent death,

king of his domain
